RESULTS | NATIONAL REGATTAS

1994 was the Inaugural Sunburst National Championship contest. From a few years after the class’s inception in 1964 until then, the North Island Champs & the South Island Champs respectively were considered the top 2 regattas each year. There was fierce debate within the class whether to have a Nationals contest or not for many years leading up to the 1994 inaugural contest.
